This September, the Stencil Art Prize will exhibit at Stirrup Gallery as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival. Showcasing 70 Australian and International artists from 20 countries, the Stencil Art Prize is the world’s largest annual stencil art event. Influenced by the ephemeral nature of street art, these stencil-based works blend pop-culture imagery and global politics to highlight the growing concerns of a socially engaged generation of artists.

The $5000 cash prize winner will be announced at the Exhibition Launch on Friday 8 September at 6pm, with the exhibition continuing until the 17 September 2017. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
